This is a transcript of a talk I gave at the Prospress meetup in December 2016. I’m publishing it here to share some of the philosophy of our company, and plans for our future. If you like what you read, we’re hiring and would love to chat with you about working together.
Ever wondered what it would look like if the hallway tracks were on the stage? The inaugural Post Status Publish answered that question and more!
So many notifications, so little time. Prospress is fighting back against Slack exhaustion with a zero notifications policy so we can all find flow!
Magpie Hats, Burnt Databases and Other “Intern Moments”: Wrapping up the Prospress 2016 Summer Internship
Our summer internship program has come to an end! Our lovely interns share their intern moments, their proudest achievements, and sum up their experiences.
Compared to other tech companies, we have a relatively small (well, tiny) team to be taking on summer interns. But we felt it would be a valuable learning experience, both for our intern/s and for us.
This summer, we offered our first ever internship program. We now introduce our interns and hear a little bit about their experiences over the past 8 weeks.
My how time flies! We’ve had two excellent WooCommerce meetups in Vancouver since the last time I wrote a recap, sharing more knowledge than a Wikipedia page. I attempted to condense the wisdom of Joey and his talk about best practices for your WooCommerce store.
We all love WooCommerce, right? Maybe your gig is developing plugins, designing websites, or setting up eCommerce stores. Whatever it is, organising a WooCommerce meetup is a great way to contribute to the community. You’ll also meet like-minded internet people, and connect with local entrepreneurs!
