This year at WordCamp Brisbane Prospress were Gold Sponsors. We sent our five Australians to attend the WordCamp.
I’m excited to announce that Prospress is formalising its contribution to WooCommerce. We are dedicating a new member of our team to contribute full-time to WooCommerce core development.
In this post, I share the backstory on this decision, and how we plan to make the new role work. I hope it can be instructive for other companies considering such a position.
Subscriptions version 2.3 was released on July 5th. We are excited to introduce a number of new features in this release along with performance enhancements, fixes, and other changes that may be interesting to developers. This post will take you through some of the changes coming in this release of Subscriptions.
Magpie Hats, Burnt Databases and Other “Intern Moments”: Wrapping up the Prospress 2016 Summer Internship
Our summer internship program has come to an end! Our lovely interns share their intern moments, their proudest achievements, and sum up their experiences.
My how time flies! We’ve had two excellent WooCommerce meetups in Vancouver since the last time I wrote a recap, sharing more knowledge than a Wikipedia page. I attempted to condense the wisdom of Joey and his talk about best practices for your WooCommerce store.
We all love WooCommerce, right? Maybe your gig is developing plugins, designing websites, or setting up eCommerce stores. Whatever it is, organising a WooCommerce meetup is a great way to contribute to the community. You’ll also meet like-minded internet people, and connect with local entrepreneurs!
We are excited to share the news that the official launch of our Small Woorld website took place on April 06 2016! In future, all of our interviews with WooCommerce entrepreneurs will be published on the Small Woorld site. This represents a change in direction for the “Prospress blog”, which will now focus more on company related news and posts.
Well, we didn’t know whether it was possible to top the first WooConf, but team Woo managed to do it the week before last. If you couldn’t make it to Austin for WooConf this year (or even if you could but you’re now suffering post-conf withdrawals), we’ve tried to recreate the magic for you here. Fix yourself a taco with diablo sauce, mix a margarita, and join us for a trip down WooConf memory lane.
