We are excited to share the news that the official launch of our Small Woorld website took place on April 06 2016! In future, all of our interviews with WooCommerce entrepreneurs will be published on the Small Woorld site. This represents a change in direction for the “Prospress blog”, which will now focus more on company related news and posts.

WooCommerce Melbourne September 2015 Recap

The first WooCommerce meetup in Australia was held on September 24th, and I was sent down to Melbourne to share the Prospress love and chat all things WooCommerce. Just under 25 locals attended the first meetup which was held in the office of the Emote Digital team. There were many familiar faces amongst the crowd (some of whom I have met previously overseas at #WooConf, and here in Australia at previous WordCamps).

WooCommerce London September 2015 Recap

This Monday we had our September London WooCommerce meetup, hosted by Realex Payments. With Marina out of town, it was up to Elliot and myself to orchestrate everything.

The London meetups usually start out with networking, talking amongst each other, consumption of refreshments. We planned a Q&A session where those who came could ask questions, and we’d try to answer them using our collective knowledge about all the things: Paul and Alan from Realex about the nitty gritty of payments, Elliot about the business cases, and myself mostly about developer focused topics.

WooConf 2014: The Best WooConf Ever  

WooThemes may have peaked too early… We have no idea how they are going to top their first WooConf, held November 3rd and 4th in San Francisco.

The Prospress team were thrilled to be a part of it, and all agree that the event totally exceeded our expectations!

For anyone that missed out (or if you want to relive the experience) we’ve pulled together all the links we could find in a recap, so that you can try to recreate the experience in your own home.

Be warned though, the teams at WooThemes and A2E did an amazing job decking out The Village with purple hues and creative touches (WooThemes jenga, nerdy terreriums), which would be hard to replicate.

But perhaps you can dust off your purple lava lamp (or stick some purple cellophane over a light), mix yourself a Bloody Mary, and begin to recreate the vibe…
